Broken Road Ranch Pugs

The first why I plan to explain, in my round about way is why blog about us, our chaos, our life here at the ranch. It started 20 years ago, I owned one fish when I met a man who owned a lizard, a dog and a cat. That man today is my husband and blames every animal we’ve ever owned to date on me. 1 fish…..seems a little fishy that it is all my fault. Ok don’t judge. As we raised our kiddos the numbers grew, we rescued many species over the years and all became BIG animal lovers. The hubby has been known to relocate a tarantula out of the road or a lizard from a sticky trap.

Another why I will blame on my sister-in-law, she thinks our antics are hilarious and has asked for years for me to just carry a camera around for her entertainment. That brings me to today. We are back at it. A couple of species live here on the ranch with us, a mother-in-law, a niece, a newly gained 9 year old daughter, many pugs, some great Pyrenees, a few that we have gathered along the way, chickens, ducks and sheep. Our menagerie, our chaos, often our laughter and definitely our love and passion.

My hope is to add some lighter even funny moments, stories to this space, lots of cute pictures and maybe along the way some tips and tricks.

Another quick introduction into the business side of what we are doing here is important. We have owned A LOT of different breeds over the years and they have all touched our hearts, our lives in some way. Something happened when Theodore, the pug, arrived though.

Pugs are something else. They will make you crazy, they will make you feel so loved and they will forever be your shadow. Theodore was our 1st and our same friend that got us started with him has fueled the below image (no need to count please); I also can’t wait to share my love of birth and matching families with you. The business side also makes my heart so happy. But for now let me leave you with these 2 images that might explain a lot.
